Evalution-Question Six

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

During this project I have used varying programs and technologies. Some of this programs have been new to me others I have used a little before.

The first new technology I used was blogger- I had never ‘blogged’ before so this was new to me however I soon picked up how to work it and I would say I am quite confident in using it to the best potential.
Indesign was a programme I wasn’t familiar with but as I have worked with it, it has become easier to work with and I worked what kind of things I could create with it. I now feel alot more confident using the programme.

Photoshop is another programme I worked a little bit with, to edit the photo’s I included in the magazine.  I also used an online editing site called ‘Picmonkey’ to do some editing as well.

In order to get audience feedback I used Photobooth on the Mac computers, this was so I could video the response.

I also used the social network Facebook to get audience feedback. I used Slideshare and Prezi to present findings and ideas professionally.

I also used a Cannon 1100D camera to take the photograph's throught out my magazine.

Evaluation- Question Five

How did you attract/address your audience?

I attracted the audience be creating a front cover which would appeal and catch their eye. I have done this by creating a bold masthead which connotes both the genre and brand identity. The central image is quite bold and again eye catching. The coverlines are bold and address the audience in a personal and friendly/informal way, this is connects them to the magazine and feel more drawn in leading to the purchase of the magazine. The colours scheme of the front cover would also attract the target audience; this is because there is contrast between the colours.

Do you like the Front cover and Why?
The target audience felt that my front cover had a fun and intersting vibe to it. They liked the fact that it gave them more information about the content inside. The puff attracted them and so did the central image

Do you like the contents page and why?

The target audience thought there was continuity from the front page to the contents and found this attractive and professional. The colours also added to this continuity. Both of them also appreciated the text to picture ratio, noting that it didn't put them off the buying the magazine.

Do you like the double page spread and why?
